Baltimore Police post recovered firearm, people commenting win the internet!

Baltimore Police recovered a firearm during a traffic stop, no big deal right?  But the creativity coming from the people sharing their thoughts in the subject will go down in there internet hall of fame.   Here is the op and some of our favorite comments.   Several people have also asked the question, does this even qualify as a firearm given its age? We consulted the ATF and their determination is if it was made prior to 1889 then it would be classified as an antique it would not be necessary for a background check. That does not change the fact that if you are a convicted felon you were still not allowed to own anything that is classified as a firearm regardless of age.

So there isn’t a loophole allowing felons to own this type of weapon.
