With only a year of competitive shooting under her belt, 14 year old 3-gun & Rimfire competitive shooting athlete Mia Farinelli has hit the ground running, already claiming several state championships.

There are times in my career as a firearm journalist that I get to meet some truly astounding individuals with amazing talent. This is most definitely one of those times.

Mia Farinelli has been competitively shooting for a year, and has almost instantly become a thunderous opponent in the realms of rimfire competitions and 3-gun competitions.

Mia plans on competing in at least 15 major matches this year, if not more. To include the U.S. National Steel Shoot, the JP Enterprise Area 5 PCC Championship, and the Charity shoot in Quantico for the Special Forces Association.

Mia started “plinking” at the age of 8 with her Father Mauro, and has been hooked on the realm of firearms ever since. With massive sponsors such as Palmetto State Armory, ORR Tactical Ammunition, Steel Target Paint, Tactical Solutions and Sharpshooters Indoor Range and Pro-Shop; Mia is on the road to becoming one of the Top Marksman in the United States.

Having been introduced into the world of competition shooting by Tim Bacus of Sharpshooters Indoor Range and Pro-Shop, Mia was instantly an expert marksman with her Cricket .22 cal rimfire in hand. Her first match was the Steel Challenge at Quantico, where she dominated the competition.
