Oops…. Looks like the poster child for the anti-gun movement in America, David Hogg, didn’t plan on this happening when he staged his feeble “die-in” protest.

Publix, a grocery store chain,  has suspended its political contributions as it re-evaluates its giving processes, the national grocery chain said in a statement.

The announcement comes days after Parkland student activist David Hogg called for a “die-in” at the grocery store to protest its support for a Florida gubernatorial candidate backed by the National Rifle Association.

So, Hogg and his sheep not only got the store chain to suspend it’s contribution to the NRA Supporting politician, but also the stores donations to Planned Parenthood, as well as a variety of Pro-LGBTQ organizations as well.

David Hogg and fellow protesters were specifically against Publix’s monetary support of Florida Republican gubernatorial candidate Adam Putnam, a supporter of the National Rifle Association. Publix is one of Putnam’s biggest contributors, donating more than $118,000 to Putnam’s campaigns from 1999-2012, according to the Center for Responsive Politics, a nonpartisan group that tracks funding and lobbying efforts according to the Daily Dot.

So Hogg and his minions got what they wanted, the financial contributions to the NRA Supporting politician have stopped for the moment. But he has also hurt many other left leaning charities and organizations screwed over as well. Way to go genius.
